Step 1: How to make your bed

1. Remove the fitted bottom sheet from your mattress.
2. Remove the Contour Mattress Pad from the box. Cut the plastic wrapping carefully, so as not to damage the foam. Since your mattress pad was compression packed, you may notice some wrinkles or depressions or a slight odor. These will all dissipate in 24-48 hours, as the pad expands to it's full size.
3. Place your new Contour Cloud Mattress Pad on the mattress (the cushion should go directly beneath your fitted bottom sheet) with the white layer facing up and head and foot properly oriented.
4. Center the pad on the bed so 1 to 2 inches of your mattress is exposed.  
5. Make your bed as you would normally with the bottom sheet directly on top of the Mattress Pad.

STEP 2: The size of your new Contour Cloud mattress pad

1. Your Contour Cloud Mattress Pad is made of the finest materials and has been designed to accommodate your fitted sheets. The size of the Mattress Pad is slightly smaller than your mattress and should sit in from the edge of your mattress about 1 to 2 inches to allow sheets to easily fit over it.
2. However, please understand that not all mattresses are sized the same. If you would like, you may stretch the Mattress Pad to make it about 2" larger. Remember, the Mattress Pad has been rolled for a period of time. Once you get it on the bed, it may need to be stretched a bit in order to bring it back to its original size.

STEP 3: Using the Contour Cloud Mattress Pad

1. The Contour Cloud Mattress Pad's three-layer design provides the ultimate in comfort and support. You will find that the white layer molds to your body's every curve, and responds to your movements throughout the night. In the morning, you'll see that it returns to its original shape. The yellow layer fits into your waist and lower back area, filling in the natural curves of your body to provide optimal support. The blue base will keep the cushion from bottoming out underneath your body's weight for head-to-toe support all night long.
2. The Contour Cloud Mattress Pad is non-allergenic and 100% antibacterial to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria.
3. The Contour Cloud Mattress Pad has been tested three different ways. Pressure studies show a dramatic reduction in painful pressure points that can cause tossing and turning and restless sleep throughout the night. Video Fluoroscopy demonstrates superior support when used in conjunction with the Contour Cloud Pillow and Sleep Efficiency Studies indicate that you should sleep longer and more restfully when you're on the Mattress Pad versus a regular mattress.
4. The Contour Cloud Mattress Pad can be used in conjunction with any type of mattress including a waterbed, sofa bed or futon.
5. The Mattress Pad is made of fine quality materials to give you the comfort and support you want. It's life varies from person to person, depending on the weight and shape of your body, your sleeping habits and your support needs.  
   

Step 4: Caring for the Contour Cloud Mattress Pad

1. When you first receive your Contour Cloud Mattress Pad, you may notice a slight odor. This is due to the compression of the foam, and should dissipate within the first few days of being out of the packaging.
2. Over time, you will notice a gradual discoloration of the white foam. This is a normal occurrence as the foam is exposed to light. It is no cause for alarm and does not, in any way, compromise the Mattress Pad's ability to provide head to toe comfort and support for many years to come.
3. With normal use, the Mattress Pad itself does not require cleaning. However, spills or surface stains can be cleaned with a mild soap and a damp sponge. Allow the cushion to air dry.
