Function Description
The Genesis Steamer has been designed to convert ordinary tap water to pressurized steam, which will enable you to clean your home effortlessly whilst also disinfecting and killing bacteria. For best results and to ensure safety, please follow the instructions carefully. Use of this appliance in any way other than that specified could result in injury.

  1. Steam pressure adjustment knob - High to Low pressure regulation. (See Fig. 1)
  2. Water tank screw cap - Press on it to release all steam pressure before opening or refilling the tank. Then turn to open. (See Fig. 2)
  3. Steam Trigger - is used to start and stop the steam output (See Fig. 3)
  4. Steam Indicator - Will light up when the appliance has built up sufficient pressure to start cleaning. (See flg.4)
  5. Empty water indicator lights up when the water tank requires refilling.

Correct Filling Procedure

  1. Before filling the tank with water, switch the power supply off and unplug the appliance. The appliance should be in an upright position on a flat surface.
  2. This appliance should be filled with no more than 1.4 litres of water. Use the filling bottle provided when filling. Note: To reduce heating time, the water tank may be filled with hot water.
  3. When refilling during use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Steam pressure must first be released by pressing down on the water tank screw cap until all residual pressure has been released (Fig. 6). When this has been done, the water tank screw cap may be removed by pressing down whilst turning in an anti-clockwise direction. (See Fig. 7)
  4. When filling prior to use, just depress the water tank screw cap and turn counterclockwise to release. (See Fig. 7)
  5. Always use the Filing bottle provided when re-filling the water tank.
  6. When the water tank is full, replace the water tank screw cap and press down while turning clockwise to lock.

Please note: Before every refill, pour the remaining water from the tank. This will ensure that overfilling is prevented, and also remove mineral deposits that may form during the heating process. Please note, the water tank has a capacity of 1.4 litres.

Always take care when working with hot water or steam as serious injuries may be sustained if this appliance is used incorrectly. Do not allow children to use this appliance.

Operating Instructions

  1. For first time use, just add 1.4 litres of water; replace the water tank screw cap, and press down while turning clockwise to lock.
  2. Plug the flex hose Into the flex hose attachment socket (As shown in Fig. 9), slide the protection cover onto the flex hose to safely lock it to the appliance (See Fig. 10), then, depending on the application, fit the correct attachment e.g. window cleaner, onto the handle. (See Fig. 11) Note: When changing cleaning attachments during use, be sure to use a cloth or rubber gloves to prevent scalding when removing one ' cleaning attachment and attaching another.
  3. Connect the power cord to the correct (15A, 120V) outlet and switch on. Switch the machine ON to start the heating process. (See Fig. 12). The approximate heating time is 10 mins. Note: To reduce the heating time, the water tank may be filled with hot water.
  4. When enough pressure has been generated, the Steam indicator will light up. (See Fig. 13)
  5. Depress and hold the trigger to release the pressurized steam. (See Fig. 14)
  6. You may now start cleaning. Please ensure that you have familiarized yourself with the operating instructions prior to use to avoid personal injury.
  7. When the steam is depleted, the empty water indicator will light up. (See Fig. 15) Refer to 'Correct Filing Procedure' on page 2 to refill the water tank.

VERY IMPORTANT: Always take care to use the correct accessory and steam pressure setting for the various applications in order to prevent damaging the surface or material. Also, it is NOT recommended to steam clean over an area for too long since this may cause heat damage to certain materials.
