Do I need to use Genie Instant Line Smoother if I use this foundation?

Yes. This foundation does not replace your Instant Line Smoother. However, it is formulated specifically to work with Genie Instant Line Smoother.

How do I use this with my Genie Instant Line Smoother?

Use your usual skin care regime (cleanse, tone, moisturize, sunscreen, etc.) and let these products COMPLETELY absorb. Then apply Genie Instant Line Smoother and let it completely dry (2-3 minutes). Then apply your Genie Line-Smoothing Foundation.  (Or Patty Bunch, our resident professional make up artist) likes to mix the Instant Line Smoother with the Line-Smoothing Foundation together!

Special Note: If you use, Genie Instant Line Smoother make sure it has dried completely before applying Genie Line-Smoothing Foundation.

Start with one pump of foundation and blend from the outer portion of your face towards your nose. (You can use your fingers, a sponge or a foundation brush.) Avoid foundation under your eye area when applying—you don’t want a lot of texture there and you are going to use additional line smoother or concealer there. Also remember to make sure you blend from your jawline down the first third of your neck. Finish and set your foundation with Genie Cashmere Powder.

Always make sure to set your foundation with Finishing Powder.  It helps "erase" any mistakes you made in applying foundation as well as make it look as if you've been airbrushed. We love Genie Cashmere Powder for this!
