PROBLEM:  Dark Circles make you look tired and many concealers are too thick; crease and make your wrinkles more prominent. You may improve the darkness problem but create a wrinkle problem.  As you age, the breakdown of collagen and the integrity of your skin's internal strength diminishes. This can result in wrinkled skin, loss of tone and dark circles resulting from weak capillaries.

Is this product only for concealing?

It is a fantastic concealer to disguise dark circles, dark spots, blemishes, rosacia, etc. But it is also great to use as a highlighter ( the Neutral shade is particuarly great for this) Great for use on eyelids --- often eyelids tend to darken as we age. If you brighten them up, your eye will look more open and lifted. It can also be used as a highlighter on brows, top of cheekbones, on top of lips, etc.

Why don't other companies use T-1 Complex in their products?

Good question. We constantly search for new technologies and cutting-edge ingredients to incorporate into our formulations. The T-1 complex is used in a few very high-end European products. The raw material is VERY expensive and probably prohibitive for many US manufacturers. In order to get the fantastic results of reducing the actual dark circle, we believe it's worth the extra cost of the raw material.

Do I use the concealer over or under my make up?

What's great about Vibrant Eyes Concealer is that you can use it either under or over your foundation. The pen applicator makes it very portable and it's great to stick in your purse or make up bag for touchups-- particularly at the end of the day when you're feeling tired. No need to look tired too!

Be sure to prime the pen. This means when you first get your pen, you may need to click it 10-20 times the first time you use it to get the flow of product going. Using your ring finger, gently tap or press the concealer into the hollow of your eye nearest your nose and in the corners. You want to keep the concealer on top of where your dark circle is. Be sure not to drag the concealer all the way from nose to corner of eye – this will definitely give you a “raccoon” look.  

Remember, you are using concealer to cover dark circles and brighten any shadows.  Sometimes shadows are unrelated to dark circles and may just be related to the bone structure of your face or shadows may be occurring because of  puffiness under your eye. You may use several light layers to achieve the brightness you want. 

To visually lift up the corner of your eyes:  draw a line from the outside corner of your eye up to the edge of your eyebrow. Then pat/press this line into your eyelid. This will create an optical illusion of lift.

To reduce the appearance of nose to mouth lines:  draw a line directly inside these nose to mouth lines.  Then pat/press this line into your skin. The brighening pigments in the concealer formula will provide an optical illusion of less depth of this line.
