Mobility Of Product
To easily move the Magic Mitre from room-to-room, or from one construction site to another, it is recommended to screw the product to an off cut of plywood approximately 21"x32.5" in size, with the Magic Mitre fixed to one end.
This will allow you to kneel down onto the board to use the Magic Mitre on the floor. This avoids the need to go back and forth from your workbench and also prevents the Magic Mitre from moving about when you are using it on the floor.
This also allows you to cut longer lengths of molding.
A handhole cut in the board will assist ease of carrying the Magic Mitre, ready to use when and where you need it.
It may also be a good idea to fix your Magic Mitre to the board at an angle. This will allow for more room to kneel and will be more suitable for both left-handed and right-handed people.
It is also good practice when working on a carpet, to place the Magic Mitre(on its board), onto a sheet to prevent any dust finding its way into your rugs or flooring.
