What sizes are available?
For the Mattress Genie to operate properly, you must use the size that matches your mattress:
- Twin - 39" wide
- Full - 54" wide
- Queen - 60" wide
- King - 76" wide
Note: For split mattress King beds, order two Twins. A regular King size bed is 76" x 80" and a California King size bed is 72" x 84" |
| Is it hard to install or use? |
No. It's easy. Just place the airlift bladder between your mattress and box spring. Connect the air hose and plug in the pump. Use the hand wand control to lift up, down, or return to the flat position. |
| Is it an actual bed? |
No. The Mattress Genie makes your present bed adjustable. It includes an air lift bladder, an electric pump and a hand wand control. |
| How far does the Mattress Genie rise up? |
The Mattress Genie rises to a comfortable sitting position, which is 39 degrees, or approximately 20 to 26 inches. |
| How much weight will it hold? |

Yes. It will work at either the head or the foot of the bed. |

No. Do not use with a waterbed as they are not designed to incline. |

No batteries are required. The pump is electric. |

| How does the mattress genie work? |
The Mattress Genie is an electrical appliance. The air pump plugs into the wall, and pumps air into a hose that is connected to the lift chamber. The lift chamber sits between your mattress and box spring. As the air flows into the lift chamber, it forms a triangular shape which causes your mattress to lift. |
| Will it slip off my bed? |
Your mattress will not slip off of your bed even if you do not have a footboard. Only the top third of your mattress lifts. The weight from bottom two-thirds of your mattress will keep the mattress in place.
