What is Raycop?
Raycop is the first UV-C anti-allergy vacuum cleaner that cleans while also killing 99.9% of bacteria in a unique process. The first step is aimed at sterilizing surfaces with a leading-edge UV-C germicidal lamp. Next, dust mites are removed with the aid of a special vibrating pad. A Micro Allergy Filtration process is the final step and removes dust mites and their waste while preventing allergens from being released back into the air.

What can be cleaned with Raycop?
The brand-new Raycop cleaning system works deep down on household fabric surfaces including mattresses, sofas, chairs, futons, crib pads, bedding, pillows and curtains. These surfaces, particularly bedding and mattresses, contain millions of dust mites and other bacteria and allergens that can aggravate or lead to symptoms of asthma, allergies and dermatitis.

How does Raycop’s anti-allergy care system?
The unique cleaning process begins by sterilizing the surface with a UV-C germicidal lamp to kill bacteria. A vibrating pad releases dust mites that are hooked to surfaces with a barb-like part of their legs. A Micro Allergy Filtration system removes dust mites and their waste while preventing allergens from being released back into the air.

What is a UV-C germicidal lamp?
Ultraviolet (UV) light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than that of visible light. UV can be separated into various ranges, with short range UV, known as UV-C, considered “germicidal UV” with the capacity to damage or destroy a dust mite’s ability to reproduce. UV-C rays are produced by a tube fitted inside the Raycop product.

Is UV-C safe and what safeguards does Raycop have for its UV-C system?
The sun naturally produces ultraviolet (UV) rays. For this brand new household cleaning use, the UV-C feature is achieved through Raycop’s germicidal lamp fitted on the underside of the handheld system. To turn on the system there is a child-preventive lock/unlock system and an automatic shut-off feature activated by sensors that detect if the machine is off the surface that is being cleaned. If it is off the surface, the product immediately turns off.

Why doesn’t the UV-C sterilization lamp on my Raycop work?
Please make sure the Raycop is making contact with the object you are trying to clean. Your Raycop is designed to turn off its UV-C lamp automatically when it is 3 cm away from a surface.

Do I have to use all of Raycop’s cleaning features at the same time?
Raycop makes it easy to select different cleaning cycles to meet the specific needs of different users. Raycop has one-touch buttons to activate the:

  • UV-C lamp (To kill bacteria and eliminate dust mites)
  • UV-C lamp + Vacuuming (For use on hard surfaces)
  • UV-C lamp + Vacuuming + Vibrating pad (For best results on soft surfaces)

How has Raycop’s system of anti-allergy care system been tested and proven?
Raycop has been awarded the globally recognized British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval as the first anti-bacterial vac system of its kind. This recognizes that Raycop has been scientifically proven to significantly reduce bacteria and dust mites.

Is Raycop easy to use?
Just plug the smooth-gliding handheld vacuum system into an electrical outlet and begin. Your Raycop has an automatic shut-off feature if the UV-C sensors are not all on the surface being cleaned or if it is on but not in use for longer than one minute. With a length and width of just over one foot (0.35 m) and height of six inches (0.5 m), Raycop is very portable and easily stored.

How does Raycop help prevent allergies, bacterial symptoms and illness in children and adults?
Raycop attacks the source of the problems – dust mites, dust mite feces and bacteria – by removing them from household fabric surfaces including mattresses, sofas, chairs, futons, crib pads, bedding, pillows and curtains. These allergen sources can lead to a variety of symptoms and chronic conditions like asthma. Asthma accounted for 14million missed schooldays by children in the United States in 2000, and U.S. consumers spend nearly $17 billion on allergy and asthma-related products each year.

Where do these harmful dust mites live?
Dust mites are in every home and thrive best in warm, moist environments where they quickly multiply by the thousands. An average household bed contains millions of dust mites at any given time. Dust mites feed on a person’s dead skin cells and then deposit their fecal pellets on home furnishings such as beds, pillows and bedding.

Aren't bedding clothes adsorbed in case of sterilization cleaning?
Bedding clothes aren't just adsorbed whether it is the only that Raycop is different from other cleaner. Raycop's core technology is an absorption prevention system. The vibration pads beat on bedding cloth at that time, dust will inhaled through the absorption prevention part without absorption.

How often should I use my Raycop?
For best results you should use your Raycop’s UV-C sterilization mode two to three times a week and use the vacuum and vibrating pad features at least once a week. To ensure that dust mites, bacteria and other allergens do not build up, make sure to use your Raycop once a week at the very minimum.

How often do I need replace the filter and how will I know when it it time to replace them?
Cartridge Filter: This is semi-permanent but we recommend users to replace every year.

HEPA micro-filter: there is a micom inside the machine which calculates usage time and will notify users by alarming and blinking LED on display panel.

UVC lamp: When you cannot see blue light on the window of the product, you need to replace it.
