How often should I use Fortex? FORTEX should be used regularly to see best results.The personal trainer programmes last for 16 sessions and it is recommended that user does 4 sessions per week.
What 5 pieces of gym equipment does FORTEX replace? 1. Shoulder Press Machine. 2. Chest Press Machine. 3. Arm Curl Machine. 4. Arm Extension Machine. 5. Seated Row Machine.
Is there a difference between the male and female FORTEX units?

There is no difference between the units, however the product literature will encourage the user to use the appropriate programmes that suit male and female.

Can the same FORTEX unit be used by people of different strength levels? Yes, the unit provides for a range of strength levels, by the fact that the resistance is equal to the force that you apply, i.e. it matches your effort.
How long does a typical work out take? Typical workouts can take between as little as 6 to 11 minutes per day.
Will it give me huge muscles (female)? The user has a choice of muscle strengthening or muscle toning so they can choose whether they want to build muscles or tone up.
Can I share my FLEX unit with my partner? You can share the unit with your partner, however only one of the advanced programmes can be used at any one time, and therefore the only programmes available to your partner are the Freestyle & Circuit Trainer programmes.
What causes resistance in the Unit? The resistance to push or pull in FORTEX is simply due to air pressure created within the device. FORTEX is precisely engineered to develop a controlled air pressure as you exercise. The harder you push the higher the pressure, therefore the harder the workout.
Because only one side moves does this mean that I am only exercising one arm and therefore have to turn it around to exercise the other arm? The FORTEX unit exercises both arms at the one time, it just provides a resistance 'between' your arms in a free-floating manner (i.e. not connected to a floor standing frame) and therefore the same resistance is experienced at each arm.
If I start a programme and have to leave it half way through can I restart the programme again? Yes. Simply hold in the “Select” button for a few seconds and zero will appear. You can then begin your programme again.
Which nine major upper body muscle groups does the Fortex exercise?

Trapezius, Rhomboid, Deltoid, Triceps Brachii, Latissimus Dorsi, Pectoralis Major, Wrist Flexors, Biceps Brachii & Wrist extensors.
